I love Mathematics and obviously the numbers. I used to score the highest marks in Mathematics from 1st class to 10th class in school.
I still remember my primary school days in Government Primary School in Jalandhar when I used to score 50/50 marks in Mathematics. Two girls named Miss Paramjeet Kaur and Miss Sunita were my competitors in Maths subject. Once I secured 40/50 marks in term examination of 5th standard and both girls secured 50/50 marks in Mathematics. Then I worked hard in final examination and three of us secured 50/50 marks in Mathematics. Thereafter I took admission in boys school named Sain Das Anglo Sanskrit Senior Secondary School, near Patel Chowk, Jalandhar City.
As Mathematics is my favourite subject, but I loved alpha, gamma and theeta more. That is why I got 100/100 marks in one of the papers of Mathematics i.e. Trigonometry paper. I got full marks in Trigonometry subject of Mathematics in my Pre-University ( Non-Medical) from D.A.V. College, Jalandhar City in 1983. For this, I was rewarded with a scholarship of Indian Rs. 700/- from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. This was a huge amount in 1983 and I handed over all the money to my mother.
I was normal like other students but the Professor of Trigonometry taught us so well that I never missed any class of this mentor, and so the result was 100/100. I still remember his name, Mr. N.K. Das.
